John
The Nebraska Nightmares are one of the most established teams in UMPL history, with a résumé that includes multiple championship runs and a long-standing rivalry with the Ascension. Led by John, the Nightmares captured their first Johnson championship in Season 2, finishing 2–2 after previously reaching the championship round in Season 1. They returned to the top in Season 6, putting together a powerful 4–2 campaign with four knockouts to claim another Johnson title.
The Nightmares have consistently proven themselves capable of challenging the league’s best. John has accumulated championship and runner-up finishes throughout the Johnson seasons, including a 3–2 runner-up campaign in Season 7 with two knockouts. While their recent results have been more turbulent—including a 0–2 showing at the Joran Lamoreaux Memorial Tournament—the Nightmares’ history speaks for itself. With a Johnson championship and years of experience competing against the Ascension and other top UMPL teams, Nebraska remain one of the league’s most recognizable and accomplished franchises.
