The Ascension have become the defining powerhouse of the UMPL, led by Evan and backed by a championship résumé that speaks for itself. Since winning the inaugural Johnson championship with a perfect 3–0 record, the Ascension have remained a constant presence at the top of the league. After several runner-up finishes in the early seasons, they broke through again in Season 5 with a dominant 5–1 campaign and four knockouts, followed by another Johnson championship in Season 7 at 4–1 with three knockouts. They have now claimed six Johnson championships, including four consecutive titles, establishing one of the most successful dynasties in UMPL history.
The Ascension’s dominance extends beyond the Johnson as well. They went 4–0 with three knockouts at the Freshman Finale, followed that with a 6–1, five-knockout championship at the Labor Day Classic, and most recently captured the Joran Lamoreaux Memorial Tournament with a 4–1 record and four knockouts. With a combination of consistency, knockout power, and an ability to deliver when championships are on the line, the Ascension have become the team every UMPL contender is chasing. Six championships have already been secured—but for the Ascension, the climb isn’t over.
